Lucy Anderton
Lucy Anderton holds a MFA in Poetry from Warren Wilson College and a BA in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music. Since 2007 she has been rebuilding a 500-year-old ruinous brothel in the south of France, where she spent two years as the writer-in-residence for the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her poems have appeared in a few journals, including
Barrow Street, The Iowa Review, AGNI Online, Crazyhorse, Verse Daily, American Letters and Commentary, Drunken Boat, and
DIAGRAM. She plays the piano, is learning to play the cello, is weary of dust in her life, and feels that the chamber pot is an underappreciated piece of furniture.
