Beth Bachmann
Beth Bachmann's first book, Temper (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2009), won the AWP 2008 Donald Hall Prize and 2010 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Her poems appear in American Poetry Review, The Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, The Southern Review, Tin House, and Best New Poets 2005 & 2007. She teaches creative writing at Vanderbilt University. Elizabeth Willis recently selected Beth's new manuscript as winner of the The Poetry Society of America's 2011 Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award.
